Angela

Angela has worked in the optical business since 1999. She is a Certified Optometric Assistant and started working at the Airdrie Eyecare Centre in 2006. She enjoys making frame selection a fun and positive experience. Angela is half we through the Optician licensing course. Away from the office she enjoys camping and traveling with her family.

Candy

Candy begun her optical career at Innisfail Eyecare Centre in April 2007 and quickly obtained her certification as an Optometric Assistant in the fall of 2008. In particular she enjoys helping patients choose the right pair of glasses that suites their needs and style. When not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with spending time outdoors working on her families new acreage.

Carla

Carla joined the Airdrie Eyecare Centre team in 2006 and became a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant in 2007. Carla enjoys helping patient with all their optical needs. In her free time she enjoys camping with her family.

Chris

Chris now lives in Innisfail and works in both our Innisfail and Airdrie office. She has been in the optical industry since 1981 obtaining her certification as an Optometric Assistant in 1986. Away from work she enjoys camping and working on crossword puzzles.

Connie

Connie started in the optical industry in 2001 and received her Certification as a Optometric Assistant in 2002. She enjoys reading, house boating, biking and spending time with her family and friends.

Katherine

Katherine was born and raised in Grande Prairie, AB and entered the optometric field there in 2004. She moved to Crossfield in 2007 and has since married and started a family. Katherine joined the Airdrie Eyecare team in 2008, enrolled in N.A.I.T.’s Optician licensing course and has recently passed her licensing exams to be come a Certified Optician. She enjoys helping patients find fun and original frames; currently her favourite collection is Vanni. Away from work Katherine spends her time chauffeuring kids to and from activities, or at her family’s farm outside of Crossfield.

Lester

Lester has been in the optical business since 1989 and obtained his Optician license in 1992. Lester started working at the Airdrie Eyecare Centre in 1999. In his free time he enjoys getting out on the open roads on his motorcycle.

Lynsey

Lynsey joined the team in May of 2011, with an extensive office background from working in a couple physiotherapy offices. She was born and raised in Whitecourt Alberta, and moved to Airdrie in August 2010. She plans to start the Optometric Assistant program in the fall. Away from the office she enjoys traveling, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Samantha

Samantha joined the Airdrie Eyecare team in 2008 and received her Certification as a Canadian Optometric Assistant in 2009. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her heard of alpacas.

Sandy

Sandy has been in the optical industry since 2002. Originally from Halifax, where she obtained her Optician's certification, she moved to Calgary in 2007. She enjoys helping patients select fashionable and functional frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle. When not at work she enjoys camping and spending time with her daughter and fiance.

Shelley

Shelley started working for the Innisfail Eyecare Centre in the summer of 2008 and received her certification as an Optometric Assistant a year later. When away from work she enjoys camping and traveling with her family and friends.

Sue

Sue joined the Airdrie Eyecare Centre in early 2008 and received her Certification as an Optometric Assistant in June of 2009. She enjoys utilizing her knowledge to help patients and working with the team. In her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants and creating new recipes at home.

Tara

Tara has been in the optical industry since 1996 and obtained her certification as a licensed Optician in 2000. She has been working at the Airdrie Eyecare Centre since 2003. Away from the office Tara enjoys spending time with her family, staying active and has recently taken up running with hopes of doing a half marathon.
